Let’s get to the list.

What is the Best Inspirational Book to Read?

Here are my top picks for the best inspirational books to read this year.

1. The Comfort Book.

The Comfort Book is the instant bestseller upon its release on 6 July 2021.

This book contains the most important lessons of my life and is a treasure trove of great truths that can’t be learned at school. It is a book of memoir for all of life’s problems, both big (overpopulation, climate change), and small (a disappointing cupcake).

The Comfort Book is psychologically divided into three parts – for when you’re sad, mad, or glad.

And, each part contains a dozen meditations, some with ideas for making the bad days better, such as sharing a poem, drawing, or writing yourself a letter of support.

There are more playful meditations too – for when we need a reminder that we can always nurture inner strength and hope, even in our busy world – like listing six things we like about life right now or making it rain comfort (or confetti).

Some readers will relate to every sentiment, others may cast their eye down any page, find a consoling nugget and pass on. The book will appeal to many, a sub- demographic of which is large and growing: people who seek guidance on how best to cope with their feelings.

2.Professional Troublemaker.

We all experience fear.

But it’s what you do with your fear that makes all the difference in how you live your life. In her new book, professional troublemaker reveals the secret for fighting human fears — their own medicine, so to speak — and taking life by the balls: facing our fears head-on and letting it get the best of us.

While fear won’t be remembered at the end of your life, how you move through the fear today will determine if you have the life that you want.

In this book, she shows us how to reach our goals with honesty and integrity by overcoming fear and uncertainty in our daily lives.

Whether it is landing a job, buying a house, fighting injustice, or making an unpopular choice, this book will help make all your fears smaller and all your dreams bigger and better.

3. The Alchemist.

This masterpiece—a modern classic—has inspired a devoted following around the world.

The story of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who yearns to travel in search of a worldly treasure, has been recounted and read in many languages. Paulo Coelho’s legendary book has become a literary phenomenon and has changed the lives of countless readers around the world. Paulo Coelho’s dazzling novel has captivated readers with its profound message of faith, hope, courage, and, above all, love.

This is a story about an Andalusian shepherd boy named Santiago.

He lives with his sheep in the Spanish countryside and has big dreams as you have too. He wants to explore the world and find treasures. And while he’s “Tending the sheep,” he meets a gypsy woman who claims to know where the treasure is buried in Egypt.

4. You are a Badass.

You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero is one of the newest New York Times Bestsellers.

It’s filled with invaluable tips and hints for helping readers reach their goals, whether it has to do with love, work, or personal growth. This empowering book will get you ready for a new life of kick-assery, authentic success, and fulfilling relationships.

I highly recommend this book; if I could give it 6 stars I would. I think she’s kind of a genius. It’s super easy to read, funny but gets inside very deep and life-changing.

It focuses on self-development through the lens of positivity, encouraging readers to draw on their “inner greatness,” visualize their goals, shed any guilt that may be holding them back, and reclaim self-love and appreciation.

Fun fact: This book is meant to inspire while making you laugh.

5. Make Your Bed.

Admiral McRaven has one of the most powerful influential voices of all time. The speech he gave at the University of Texas in 2014 went viral and touched millions of people across the world.

Have time? Just check out his viral speech here.

Now that voice is available for you to read, pause, reflect, and apply its wisdom to your own life in his new book: Make Your Bed.

Admiral McRaven addresses ten principles for change including Dress like the Success You Want to Be, Make Your Bed as a Starting Point to Productivity and Think Positive about Everything.

The concepts are simple and the book is easy to read but it’s one of those books that will stay with you.

McRaven takes a unique approach by linking our everyday choices such as making your bed and being punctual with our life-changing goals including a ranking officer in the Navy, becoming a world-class gymnast, and running half-marathons with his wife trainee.

6. Can’t Hurt Me.

David Goggins has never backed down from adversity.

Through challenge after challenge, he has confronted the ingrained odds stacked against him and changed his life for the better every time.

In Can’t Hurt Me, he shares his astonishing life story-from growing up poor in San Jose, California, to the punishing ascents of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Aconcagua in South America-that provides indelible lessons for achieving true success and happiness.

Here’s a quick primer to his story:

From the day he could walk, David Goggins was told he would amount to nothing. He was bullied, beaten down, and rejected every step of the way. But he refused to give up on himself.

And when he was knocked down, he got back up – time and time again – until he didn’t get up just to show the world he could … but to prove to himself that he could. From childhood beatings to decades of sleepless nights spent underground in a personal quest to become the ultimate warrior – not even death could stop him.

An interesting fact about him: He is the fittest real man in America and he is the only one who has completed Navy Seal, Army Ranger and Air Force Tactical Air Controller in history.

He is a true inspiration.

7. Becoming.

In a life filled with meaning and accomplishment, Michelle Obama has emerged as one of the most iconic and compelling women of our era.

As First Lady of the United States of America – the first African-American to serve in that role – she helped create the most welcoming and inclusive White House in history, while also establishing herself as a powerful advocate for women and girls in the U.S. and around the world.

Which dramatically changes the ways that families pursue healthier and more active lives, and standing with her husband as he led America through some of its most harrowing moments.

Growing up in a military family, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama never imagined she’d be where she is today. Yet she has become the First Lady of the United States of America and is one of the most admired women in the world and a role model for young women everywhere.

Her story— from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work, to her time spent at the world’s most famous address — is a result not only of her own efforts but also those of her close family, whom we see here (in this book) through her own words, letters, emails, and diary entries.

That’s it for my list of the best inspirational books.

Reading an inspirational book will expand your mind and ignite your passion for life. You won’t find many people saying they have had a negative experience with an inspirational book.

It changes how you see the world when you get inside the mind of someone who has achieved what you wish to achieve.

  2. Professional Troublemaker.
